Advanced SaaS platform for subscription administration
This project focused on creating a custom SaaS application for a B2B organization providing subscription billing and account management services. The goal was to deliver a scalable and adaptable platform that would enable administrators to manage service plans, monitor user engagement, configure pricing structures, and process transactions in real time.
The client approached us with a business concept but without detailed technical documentation or a defined architecture. Our responsibility was to create not only a functional MVP but also a reliable foundation for future growth. The platform needed to support role-based permissions, integrate with payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal, and offer flexible subscription configurations for different business models.
We began by gathering requirements through stakeholder workshops, user interviews, and competitor research. Based on the findings, the system was organized into four primary areas: an administration panel, a customer portal, a subscription management module, and a reporting dashboard with live analytics.
After finalizing the system architecture and user experience, development started using Node.js and PostgreSQL for the backend and React for the frontend. We also implemented webhook integrations to provide reliable event processing and real-time updates. The API architecture was designed for scalability, making future integrations and automation workflows easy to implement.
The project was delivered through structured weekly sprints, allowing features to be released incrementally and reviewed by the client’s internal stakeholders. Feedback was collected continuously to ensure alignment with business goals. In addition to development, we advised on infrastructure setup, deployment strategy, and CI/CD implementation best practices.
The final product was a reliable, production-ready SaaS platform capable of supporting hundreds of active users and daily transactions. It featured flexible billing options, detailed permission management, and real-time visibility into financial and customer activity. Following the launch, the client reported significant operational improvements and a 30% decrease in support requests related to subscription and payment management. The success of the project resulted in plans for a second phase focused on CRM connectivity and expanded multi-currency capabilities.
